I am facing EVICTION

An "eviction" is a legal action that your landlord can take to have you removed from his or her property.

Read through the most common reasons for an eviction. If you feel your eviction is unjustified you do have rights and should seek legal service

Here are some possible reasons for eviction:

1. You have not paid your rent
If you have not paid your rent in a timely manner or are seriously behind with your payments your landlord may have solid grounds to evict you. Your landlord must inform you in writing that the rent is due by a specific date or the lease will be terminated. 

2. Your lease has expired
If your lease has not been renewed or extended you may be asked to vacate the property. If you refuse to leave, the landlord may evict you but only after giving you written notice.

3. You never had a lease to begin with
If you have rented a property without a lease, your landlord only needs to give you written notice (usually 30 days) to terminate your rental. The landlord has the option of evicting you at the end of that period.

4.Other rental violations
If you have violated any terms that may be in your lease it could be grounds for eviction. The landlord must inform you in writing of such a violation and you must be given sufficient time to correct the problem. If you do nothing to correct it, the landlord may have grounds to evict.
