Basic Banking and Life Skills is a program that uses the FDIC Money Smart curriculum. The program addresses how to use a checking account, how to plan a budget and make it work, how important credit is and that it can be repaired, predatory practices to look out for to keep consumers out of trouble, and types of loans available to consumers.
