Description of Program(s)
Since 1986, the Commission has maintained an Investor Education program to alert Pennsylvanians on how to avoid becoming a victim of investment frauds. The Commission is convinced that the best defense to investment scams is an educated consumer. To this end, the Commission has concentrated on reaching Pennsylvanians through radio, television, print media and participation in consumer fairs, senior expos and through speaking engagements. The Commission also maintains a toll-free telephone number (1800-600-0007 in PA) and is reachable on the World Wide Web at www.psc.state.pa.us
